You can backup your own site by downloading it and burning it to a cd. It has to be done correctly, but it is a simple procedure. You can keep a copy on a cd at any secure location. Option 2: In addition, we can provide a system for you to login to your control panel (for a small fee - $30 setup and $100/year) which you can use to do a backup at your convenience as many as 4 times a month. Then, at any time, you can pull any file from that archive and put it back on your server. The archives are kept on a separate machine, thus if your files are deleted for any reason, you can immediatley replace them from the archive using this website backup service. 
Option 3: And yes, we automatically do backups. We do a full backup once each week. In addition, we do incremental backups through the week which backup any file that has changed since the full backup. Thus, we have 7 days of your data. If you have something that was deleted or removed by accident, and you do not have a copy of the data, you can submit a request to InternetConnectUSA.com to have the data pulled. We need this request IMMEDIATELY when you notice that files are missing or deleted since we only have 7 days of backup available. In the coming months when our new system is fully online, we will have about 8 weeks of data to pull from. There is currently a $150 charge for the tape pull since this requires a computer system administrator's time to pull the data from the tape and put it back on your account. And we highly recommend that all customers implement Option 1 or 2 as normal practice. Depending on Option 3 for the vital information of your business is not good practice. Although we are fanatical about secure backups, Murphy's Law is ever at work and InternetConnectUSA.com practices both Option 1 and 2 on our own website (in addition to having Option 3 as a backup).
